Thank you all, I enjoy sharing my work with those that appreciate the levels of detail and time it takes, especially me being OCD! It’s an enjoyable hobby not everyone can understand.

Update:

Added a switch for the pole lights and an additional block siding for locomotives temporary out of service or maintenance.
Finished flag light.  
Installed the yard lights, which I liked so much I’m ordering another 2 sets for the walks and eventual maintenance areas. The lights came with wooden poles, but I prefer them without it.

Started a base layer of fine turf with a top layer of coarse turf then underbrush and bushes.
I know it’s not the Woodland Scenics way of adding textures, but  it looks good to me. Eventually with a few trees, it’s all good.

Thanks for the light info Gene. The turf looks good. If you’re happy with the results that’s what counts. I like what you’re doing.

I’ve been working on a couple projects.
Built the locomotive maintenance platforms and painted.  
Built 4 base platforms so the top of maintenance platform is level with the locomotive catwalk.
Made a base platform to raise the diesel fueling station I purchased from Alan. His work is excellent! The pictures he posts does no justice to seeing his work in person. The platform is longer than the fueling station to accommodate a future sand tower facility.
I’ll post pics after the final paint is completed on the base platforms and on the layout.

Thanks Mark, painting the railings was tedious and required lots of patience but well worth it.

Hi Gene, I am new to this thread, but you are doing wonderful work! I really like your rebuild and have picked up some ideas from your build! I am glad I came across it and will as Bob says getting my popcorn and watching!

Update:

Added and painted stairs for the maintenance platform bases.
Added concrete slabs for the maintenance platform areas.  
Started with base coat of greenery in an area that’s completed with buildings.
