Do you know where to get them?

I received an email from Midge this morning.  They have the brackets for $4.00 each.  I ordered 3 of them.  I do have an extra remote I purchased last year.  just trying to stretch the life before being forced to Apps.

Give them a call.  I think they will sell pretty briskly.

ASC's don't get to use Midge's excellent service, we order behind the curtain.  Right now when I confirm the entry for BG-5000007, it comes up as "NOT AVAILABLE".

could they make them out of Delrin next time? … or anything better. it has to flex every few seconds.

When I saw the picture of the part, it screams stamping or crc out of aluminum.  Apply the breaks after the cutouts and done.

Of course the 1st part would be the tooling.

Aluminum isn't a good idea, flexing it would quickly fatigue the bracket and it would break.  Oh, wait!  That's what happens now!

MTH broke the thumbwheel into three parts that are individually ordered.  This is from Jason's email to ASC's.

Thumbwheel cradle (the part that most often breaks as it’s the “spring” for the thumbwheel select feature) – BG-5000007 - $4.00 retail

Thumbwheel (no encoder) – BG-5000008 - $4.00 retail

PCB with three wires (this is the PCB the encoder solders into) – BG-5000009 - $2.00 retail
