Replacing reed chuff switch with cherry switchs

I got tired of fiddling with two reed switches for my cab forward. I bought 2 Philmor micro switches at my local electric supply store. I made a cam for the axle to drive the switch from a model airplane wheel collar which I ground two sides down. Made a brass fixture to hold everything and here is the result. chuffs are crisp and definite.

I'm now putting in the second switch for this articulated and will do sound videos and run byes if everything works out.
