I had to go to Meridian today for pastoral hospital visitation. I was able to get a view photos in Meridian and Newton MS. Some of them of rather interesting pieces of equipment.

The controls were in the spreader.

Newton, MS water tank. I do not believe it is still in service because they have built several of the "light bulb"

shaped tanks. I love the weathering on this one.

Another B unit, 907, ex IC, ICG, Midsouth, KCS, GP10. It still has frog eyes!

I hope all had a Great Memorial Day Weekend.

Thank you for posting these interesting photos., Malcolm.

Great to see these railroad equipment, with their color paint schemes and markings.

The orange, yellow and black sand tower and building, to me, are typical railroad fixtures, especially with their colors and markings.

Take Care,

Ralph
