Second CSX Theater Car arrives with damage too.

Chief Bob,  You are probably right.  My CSX F40PH #9999 needs a third RA Call Tag for service of the sound volume control.  Each time it returned with a new problem.  The first time they failed to fix the stuck roof hatch.  I had to open the engine to reach the run/program switch, then the smoke did not work.

I painted all seven CSX Executive 21" passenger car interiors and added Preiser People I painted.  The cars look great, but the engine to pull them has had issues and now some paint spotting on the roof.  I don't remember the spot being there when I sent the engine in the first time.  I will try again to reach Nicholas Smith Trains again, but they are only relaying messages to Joey who has been extremely busy.

I bought a second 4-car Union Pacific Challenger set when my first Observation came with dislocated windows and scratched glass.  The second Challenger set arrive today and fortunately the Observation is almost perfect, one small pit in the yellow paint.  I will inspect the other three cars tomorrow in better light.

Sounds like a shipping issue and not a problem with the manufacture. I would give it another try.

Stop ordering new stuff from Lionel. 

Don't worry..  The new catalog will be out before you know it with a lot more stuff to pre order to take your mind off it!
