guys I am in the process of building a temporary layout just so I can have something to do while recuperating from open heart surgery at home. I am building an around the room layout with an island in the middle using double track mainlines with fastrack and I need some sugestions about how to build a lift up section at an oblique corner going into the room. I think I could figure it out if it wasn't at a corner but its the only way to get into the room from the hallway.

if any of you guys have solved this problem please give me your input thanks.

Can you post a picture of the area? I'm sure many others can jump in here. And way will require a pieces to be firmly attached to prevent falling off.

My experience is a lift out section will require a place to put it, a swing down section may get hit as the "good" surface faces the passage, a swing up section requires two things, an over center stop AND to be sure it won't hit the ceiling. (Only took us two attempts there) Good luck and fast heeling. Keep us posted.
