Sound Decoder for SP 4-10-2 ?

I like the Protocraft Super Tsunami decoders because they can handle the higher current required for larger steam.  The real problem is creating the correct sound cam (six lobes with a stagger able to create the desired off cadence chuff).  I've often thought a hex shape with two of the opposing sides being much shorter than the other four might work.

That's true but an equally spaced hex (6 sided) cam won't give you the stutter.

GME may have the cam for 3 cylinder locos.  They seem to have a large number of types.  Best to contact them directly.

I had a cam on my 4-10-2 dating from when I was using the PFM sound system.  I don't remember now (its been 25 years!) whether it came from GME or other.
