Hello! I have been kind of out of the hobby for a couple years but recently had the opportunity to set up a layout again. This Southern Diesel was running great until one of the motors just seemed to give out. I pulled the shell off and pulled the brush plate off and noticed that one of the brushes wore very crooked compared to the other one on the motor. I was wondering if this the cause of my motor problem? It’s been a little while since I worked on any engines. If it is, then is there a certain type of brush that I need for the motor?
