"Speaker Fuzz" from brand new Lionel engines. Can it be fixed DIY?

One issue that I've see a couple of times is the speaker face is too close to the chassis.  The speaker suspension hinge will sometimes allow the speaker to hit the chassis creating nasty static.  Also, sometimes on diesels the speakers pick up some small magnetic items and they vibrate when the speaker cone moves.  Both are easy DIY fixes.

Lots of new Lionel products do that, is that engine Bluetooth equipped?  If so you can lower the individual sounds of whistle, bell, crew talk, prime mover.  I'd suggest lowering crew talk.  I usually put some foam or sound insulation in speaker Chamber to quiet that vibration. I think your speaker is fine,  Lionel makes everything so loud these days it vibrates shell or metal side venting
