When I open the website at work, the sponsors banners do not appear. Just blank lines above recent posts.

At home they work perfectly.

We use Win7 and Firefox here. Pop-up or something similar blocked?

The top row of banner ads (Ross, Scenic Express and Miller Engineering) are just static images with links to their web sites. Nothing special there.

The rotating banners in the second row are displayed via the use of a small javascript. They are not "pop-up" ads, just images, so a Pop-Up Blocker should not have any effect on them.

The only thing all the images have in common is that they are all served from the ogaugerr.com server, not the OGR Forum server.

Try this... the next time you are at work, see if you can bring up our main wen site at ogaugerr.com. The result of that test will set our next course of action.

Some banner ads contain tracking cookies that do not require you to click on them. This can sometimes be a security risk. There are software applications that block all banner ads to prevent certain system attacks. In other words, your work computer is blocking the ads.

Sounds like an ad blocker is in use. The attached file shows what this page looks like in Google Chrome with their ad blocker installed and activated.

None of these ads contain any tracking cookies. All they are is an image with a link to a web site.

It doesn't matter if the ads contain cookies or not. They all get blocked.

I understand that. I was making the point that there are no TRACKING COOKIES in those images.

Sounds like Adblock Plus for FireFox.

Go Tools > Add-ons to see what you have.

It was indeed AdBlock for Firefox. Disabled on this website and reopened.
