This is shaping up beautifully.
Erik, that’s great! I’ll be using your image file as this will save me the trouble of working the BRHS Exposition Flyer cover image.
Do you have a picture of the lit drumhead? In my experience laser transparencies are not as opaque and light bleeds through...
Thanks, @AGHRMatt!

Beautiful work Santiago - I look forward to your posts - they are inspirational. Do you have a copy the Passenger Car Catalog, subtitle PULLMAN OPERATED EQUIPMENT by Krattville Publications, date 1968. It is long out of print and to the best of my knowledge has never been reissued. It has 180 pages of invaluable pictures and data much of which came from the Pullman Co. If you don't have a copy contact my by email and perhaps I can help.
Beautiful work Santiago'.. That gate is sick'... 👽 This is going to be one spectacular looking Pullman Car'...
That looks nice, how do you keep the solder so clean and isolated from the multiple attachment points when attaching all the bars? Are you using heat gun or soldering iron?
Thanks!
Ed, I’ll take you up on that one. Thanks!!! Will email you shortly.
Thanks, Ted!
Mike... heat is the answer to your question. A 175 watt soldering iron and some flux will make the solder flow nicely. Sanding papers and brass wire brush also help in some cases.
Mike, I only used sand paper for the gate.
Another fantastic piece of work sir!
Thanks, BobbyD

First attempt at printing the drumheads. I’m not very happy, even at a 1200 resolution setting on coated white paper, the image just isn’t as sharp as I want it to. I do like the backlight glow in getting with this paper...

If I go with the printed paper I’d need to find a way to install glazing in front to simulate glass...
