Got the ballot for the election of TCA officers. They all look like fine, capable, and deserving people. But.....there was one candidate for each office and one for each at large position. In other words, there were no choices. Each position had exactly one person to vote for. That is all well and good I suppose. I'm wondering, however, how much it costs to mail all of those ballots to people for an election that is already decided?
I'm guessing the by-laws require the vote?

There is a line under each office for a write in vote. This if used enough could get another elected.

People will just be sheep and vote, as always..... Shame though, I can remember when there were at least two people and sometimes 4/5 for these positions.....
There were two running for president, and two for vice president. Only the treasurer and secretary wer unopposed.

Please check your ballot again. You will see the correct numbers. Personally one of the gentlemen running for President looks like a current form member.
Hey, someone else could always step up, but that requires commitment. Me, I'm not committed though perhaps I should be.

I took another look at the ballot, I will be voting for Mr. Anyan, president elect., Joe Fanara, vice president, And Ronald leclaire as a write in for Treasurer! Ron, for those of you who don't know him, runs the Marx show at York, has a vast banking background, has the best of interest the TCA at heart, and is a all around good guy! Have decided to vote NO on both of the bylaw amendments.....
