TMCC Odyssey reverse issue

If it is the RS4 Rolland, I have RS commanders which accept that sound board.

The problem is either the R2LC or the DCDS assuming it has Odyssey. Check the 4 pin JST connector between the motherboard and the DCDS which carries the direction signals. Make sure all pins connect to their respective boards. Then try another radio board. If still no joy, you can try another DCDS from another engine.  If it turns out the DCDS is bad you can replace it with an ERR Cruise M. You will be able to retain all the other boards.

The manual says it is Odyssey equipped and it has a tach reader on one of the motors which is consistent with the Odyssey system.  I checked the connections and they are good.  I will have to look around to see if I have a good working radio board to substitute.

Many times I've found that the output drivers are the issue with these, and replacing those on the DCDS is fairly simple and cheap.

If you find out it’s the driver,…an ERR Cruise M is an upgrade coinciding with the up-sale,…your customer will enjoy better and more finite cruise, along with better reliability,….
