I would say Ron has the best O scale selection in Buffalo. Tons of engines, rolling stock and accessories. He also carries HO too. Tell him Al from Millhouse sent you.

I agree, Ron's is the best for modern trains but call ahead to verify hours. Niagara for paints and scenery items. If you are into Post War with some modern D&L is worth checking out. They have an extensive inventory of reproduction parts also.

What is the name of Ron's store?

I have not been to a train store in Buffalo in several years. I used to like visiting K-Val hobby. They didn't have very much Lionel, but they were always very nice to my kids. During my very first visit, I purchased an NOS replacement 1946 turbine armature.

 I haven't been to K Val in about a year. I think he's still open. He's a good guy to deal with. Usually has the latest Lionel steamer on display and he'll run it!

 Niagara Hobby does have deals all the time. Last month was MTH buildings at 30% off. I get a lot of my scratch building supplies there now. I even grabbed some Aristo signal towers in G scale.

Aurora hobbies has so much stuff I could spend hours looking and I do. Trouble is picking what to get. Last time I spotted a six pack of cars but had to pass on priorities.

 There are even more shops to see. I remember one on transit rd that had track and supplies at a great price. Another one is a block from Niagara on Union. I'm bad with names. Maybe transit station?? More into RC cars.

 I'm not sure if the Hamburg store is still there. I never found it....

Artcraft was open 6 months ago when I stopped during the last Hamburg show. Its in a RR station with a PRR decapod on a siding behind the store. Worth a stop.

Make sure you go to Medina, very cool museum and lots to see. Well worth the trip , about 15 miles.
