1st I do appreciate where I got the idea , for using old VHS tapes, and get 5 black perfect for Track Screws

WELL, now I am out of VHS tapes,  NO, I did not use the 1ones of the kids,   We labeled, those, and still have

them , dont know how people are going to watch, them, ( no machine ),   Anyway

NEED , another idea for best practice  track screws that will go in the Black ties of tubular track

No.  The ties are connected to BOTH outer rails and insulated from the center rail.  Any screw going thru the ties are touching the same material under the track that the ties are.  If there's no electrical problem without the screws then there won't be with them.

 

BTW: I'm a tubular track 50 year user and have been screwing down my track the entire time with metal screws.
