Turntable Cab Detail parts pack coming

I thought I'd share what is coming in the near future. I have been working with another forum member (David Eisinger) who is also one of my customers. He had scratch built a drum control stand out of brass to go inside the cab of his turntable. He had also added a brass locking bar ( it really was for a locomotive, I think a shay, but looked close enough) Here is his TT cab.

Anyway I liked it so much I wanted to make these parts for people like Dave and myself that love all the extra details.

Here is the prototype photo he and I are using as reference to make the models

and here is the 3D printed wax master to make the mold for brass.

I am thinking of other items to add to the detail parts pack and make it available as a supper detail parts pack.

Besides the drum control stand & locking lever, I was going to add a tool box and a few other items. I would like to know what people would like to see included in that package..

Let me know.

Wow now that is cool. This may sound dumb but are there any specific figures that might be more appropriate for the TT than what's available?

Don, what did you have in mind for the TXT? Let me know.

Marty, I'm not sure. I usually find an Arttista figure that works out.

Jack, I don't know what the turnaround time is to get the castings made and back yet. I will try and make the April York with this.

Al:  Put me down for those items.  Would like to detail my custom built turntable.  Control shack looks pretty empty.  I'd also like to see a light added;  could be powered off of TT track power.  (Be a good way to let operator know that power is on to TT track.)  Would also like to see an outside toolbox to fit against the side of the shack, the kind with the slanted top.  Be nice to pick up this stuff at York in April, if possible.

Excellent job, Al. Now, have you given any thought to producing the two levers that would be OUTSIDE the operators cab, which activate the table locking plates at each end of the table? Each lever would "engage/disengage" one of the table to track locking fixtures, one at the near end and one at the far end.

HW, shoot me an email or give me a call to discuss. Thank you

After learning a few things from Hot Water. The lever above that is shown in the cab was the brake lever. The locking levers were out on the deck in a pair. One for each end of the bridge. Here is the prototype photo

and here is the STL of the new part. This will be in addition to the other parts in the detail parts pack.

Artista figures number 1411 is a tower operator pulling a lever. That one would look great with this.
