Weekend at the Movies 17 August 2018!

Happy Friday everyone! It's been a long, long time since I or anyone else posted this thread, so I thought I'd give it another go-around. If you have never posted on this thread before, it's pretty simple: embed or upload a video (or more than one) of your own creation to this thread. I'll update the title and (hopefully) post new videos every Friday.

That said, this week I have two videos. The first is a short clip showcasing the newly finished postwar layout at the D.A.R.E. Model Railroad Club of southwestern PA; the second is a new/old video of trains in the autumn foliage at Horseshoe Curve in 2013.

Let's see your videos!

Shot this in 2011, it was my last (of Years) shoot for the Golden Gate Railroad Museum. Some shots were done with my first GoPro camera. That was three or four GoPro's back. The video was shot with a stereo rig. It was so nice not to have a grip rig my big video camera on the engine, that sometimes took hours. This is a rare night run of the SP 2472. Enjoy and please watch in HD. Don

Wow! Thank you all for helping this thread make a great comeback! Some very nice model, real, and historical train action.

This week, I have another new/old video, a short clip featuring a light move of some NS Geeps, as well as a quick clip from my sojourn across the United States on the Empire Builder and an old clip from last summer, when I was fortunate enough to see some old Alcos in operation.

Let's see your videos!

Here’s a shortened version of the first have of a video about NKP 765. The second part won’t be made until late September or early October, after I see the 765 under steam at CVSR. Comments and advice are appreciated.

Happy Friday everyone! It's time for another Weekend at the Movies!

This week, I have some new content. A few weeks ago, I was fortunate enough to catch the southbound Allegheny Valley Railroad Washington (PA) local, known as AVR-3. Fate conspired to lend an interesting twist to what was otherwise a normal consist: the crossing flashers at Lutes Road were fading out every 6 seconds or so. There was no cause for alarm, though, as a railroad employee was on the scene.

Let's see your videos!
