Apparently SIRT has already been at work weathering this Cab Car.

Southern Ry center cupola, woodside, four window caboose sitting on a spur at the Cone Weaving Plant in Reidsville, NC along the mainline to DC. 

Brother Love [Malcolm] made me a couple like it.

 This just showed up and I got the "now what did you order" from the CFO. I forgot about it so I was stuttering.....

 I don't know why I haven't ordered more in the past. for 25 bucks, it's a great deal to me. All 4 doors open by the way. I should have got the matching purple CF hopper awhile back. Would look great with that DCS engine too.....

There's a farmer in Delaware that has it's twin sitting in his backyard.  What a neat train room this could be.

Making good progress on my house scene ,still needs a lot more detail work.

I got these scale-wheeled F7's a while back and tested them successfully. However, I never put them into "revenue" service. Finally got around to it. I turned the express box car into a transition car for the hi-rail passenger coaches. I'll eventually switch them all over to scale wheels and Kadees.

Meanwhile, Dave O'Connor and Jack Kemph finished the machine shop for the engine facility. Jack assembled the bulk of the machining equipment while dave designed and built the structure, the overhead pulley system and the lighting effects including the heater's flickering fire.

I too really like the machine shop.  The attention to detail especially having the lathes turned in the correct orientation.

A while back someone built a really nice commercial machine shop but, all the several lathes were orientated backwards.  I could not get past that fact.

Went for a brunch train on the Tioga Central in Wellsboro PA.  Very pleasant !

This is a scene that I'm very familiar with from my volunteer work in the DT&M roundhouse at Greenfield Village  The fact that they didn't overlook the metal shavings on the floor (and the guy cleaning them up for that matter) is great!

great pic Jake. I remember my Uncle taking me to a buddy of his, was in his 70s. He must have never cleaned shavings up in his life cause they were up to the bed of his lathe.

Martin, may I ask where you purchased the GHB trucks?

At the GHB web site, they are in Maryland, trucks are a simple install and you get a real operating trolley pole.  If you use the pole, getting the floor off to access the inside to install the pole is a pain, but doable...

AGHRMatt is the one that posted it.  In my compliment I had meant to have the picture with the quote box, but apparently it didn't go that way.  I just finished correcting that
