What O gauge crane should I use for my tinplate harbor scene?

Neat stuff! The fun thing about the Gely and later NBN clockwork dock crane is the operating features- hook goes up/down and crane rotates. Here's a video of my NBN dock crane together with the Orbor clockwork stationary power plant. Note also the coal bucket that came with the crane.

I like your powerplant too. There is a broken one on eBay. I was considering whether I could fashion and add a manual crank. There is no bucket elevator, but the pistons should go up and down.

Lots of nice options.  I'm kinda partial to this one.

Vintage Marx Toy Fred Flintstone & Dinosaur Crane - Hughes ...

If it was usable at all as a remote control crane, I'd HAVE to have one

The Orobr co. (? spelling) & generator is new to me. It's simply an awsome piece.

I think you could manage a homespun crankshaft or cam run off  a cheap hvac gearmotor pretty easy there imo. Lack of a conveyor is just artistic licence to supply "power" for anything from industry to a small town until you land the right parts....if you ever do. (Was that price ok?)

edit: not mine, just curious what the average might be.
