I'm possibly looking to buy the "Williams True Blast II horn/bell" but haven't found a website to order one, and pricing.

Also, I don't know much about it other than a youtube video demonstrating it, and a forum member recommending this being a good sounding unit.

My application: replace a 1980's vintage electronic horn circuit that died inside my Lionel 2383 F3. I don't need railsounds or any other digital sounds; I just need to blow the horn when the whistle control is activated on my transformer.

Thanks,

Roger

Note - there is now TB2 (just horn and bell) or TB+ which is horn, bell, and diesel sounds if you so desire.

There are/were a few available on the buy/sell forum recently. Any major Williams dealer should also stock it - Marios Trains or Trainworld. I believe both have ads rotating in the "billboard" at the top of the screen.

Dallee also makes good sound boards - better than Williams. The Dallee also have engine/diesel sounds.

You may find many dealers stocking only the TB+ system these days....

Just found time to look up the Dallee website - interesting! Especially the electronic E-Units!

I think you'd be happy with their products. About a year ago, I had a "quirky" older MTH PS2 diesel converted from PS2 to a Dallee e-unit and Williams True Blast Plus sound. Admittedly, the sound isn't my favorite but it does sound very good compared to the True Blast 2 sound.

The Dallee E-unit has been a strong, reliable performer.
