Thanks for the heads up Ken! For now Im just going to use Caboose hobbies throws, once I have some extra cash I might convert to tortoise using Dan's recommendation.

I do want to stop in!  Stop by my table at the show and we can talk about it.  I will be by myself for the most part so the table will be the place to find me.

Looks great man!  Nothing better than getting a train on the track.

Looks good Will, I have been doing test runs myself...can't wait to actually be running.

The engine stop by it self or you did it? if stop by itself you need to energize the frog and the point.

Nice job on the turnout.

Also, I've used tortoise machines on 40 or so switches. As Dan suggests, you have to replace the flimsy wire with some sturdier piano wire. Pressure will be very strong against the rail after that.

I have started messing around with some ballast options. What do you all think about this:

I feel like the ballast is a little small I might jump up to the next larger size.  But I dont like the huge chunk look either.

Ballast looks good Will, but like you said a little small. Small is great for yards, industry, and engine areas, but for mainline I would go bigger. Mainline ballast is large chuncks, and it sucks walking in it lol

Yeah it looks good Will....you could go a bit larger if you wanted to.  Just depends on what suits your eye.

What they said Will, a tad small, but it is your call. Nice to see your making steady progress on the railroad.

Hey Will,

     You know what, you have to model what you like.  See what happens?....Changes, changes and more changes...  Definetly a bunch of modeling there and it should be a great build....I like the cement plant.  I just put a huge halt on my RR, making some big changes and adjustments...keep us updated Will and again...I like it.
