So i have this almost all built and im starting to get to finish the yard wiring and its just not "sitting" well with me. The biggest factor is the Atlas turntable not working 100% it only wants to rotate CW and not CCW. I've spent almost a week trying different tricks and tips to getting it working but not have worked well enough to change my mind! So with that said what are your thoughts about taking it out and doing something different like a transfer table? and a making a bit more realistic yard siding? I have already changed the layout and took out the double cross over as it caused problems with certain engines would not go through it.

Layout Spec's: GarGraves Track, Ross Custom Switches 42", Outer main 54" curves, Inner main 42" curves, Yard 42" curves.

Just some ideas... I don't use these tracks, but I find making them fit is a pure custom exercise. The Atlas site has the manual for an HO TT-DC power and a double switch with a reversing switch and move switch. maybe that diagram would help.

Why not move the other half of the double crossover to the opposite side?

I thought a wye off the inside line to access the yard/TT would look nice. But, I can't make it fit. It would look good in the middle of the area, give you a long yard and a way to reverse the direction of a train prototypically.

Outside train crosses over to inside, travels to wye, changes cars, leaves in either direction, crosses over to outside line. You get the idea.

Anyway, perhaps it will stir a new direction for your ideas.

Too bad on the TT. It is a focal point of the layout and cool to operate. I hope you left room for it. You'll want one later.

yeah, your dilemma caused me to practice with the Ross\Gargraves combo and some object creation. The mainlines are as close to your dimensions that you posted as I could get. Cut a lot of flex to make it work.

I am looking forward to seeing your design. Did you put the other crossover back-in?
