Each year I start with a shopping list and then add to spontaneity.

So far I have some scenery details, seated people, Smoke fluid, lubricants and a few coal hoppers on my list. As for being spontaneous I will look for a Legacy diesel or two. Be interesting to see what Charlie Nassau, Trainland and Vince's Trains are offering.

What is on your wish list???

Frank, those are very difficult to find. I have only seen them once years ago in Orange Hall. I didn't have the cash for them then. Bummer.

Scott,  a friend of mine has all the cars nib.  I might have to try to convince him to sell one day.  I've yet to see a set or the add-on car for sale.  I imagine they only made 25 sets or so.  (Really no idea, but probably very low).

I have the MTHRRC 400E and 392E and every MTHRRC 200-series car.  I'll have to keep searching for the comet cars.

Steve,

My shopping list gets smaller every year as I usually find one or two items on it at York.  I'm down to the hard to find or very expensive items.

--Lionel 6-58509 LCCA NS Lighted Eagle 2012 Convention car

--3rd Rail PRR 4-6-4-4 Q1, unskirted

--PRR USRA 0-6-0 (B28); MTH 20-3453-1 or AtlasO 1703-3 or -4

--K-Line K4680-30007 PRR 18" Pullman "Chambersburg Inn"

I'm also always looking for Weaver B60 baggage and RPOs, Atlas X-29 Express boxcars, and MTH R50s with car numbers I don't already have to add to my express train.

Obviously I'd like to find the majority of the money I brought still in my wallet at the end of the day...

I've always like the MTH Evolution Hybrid with the charging lights. If I can find a dealer with a Railking Imperial version, I'd likely grab it.

Otherwise, a few odds and ends I do need to get such as a station platform, smoke fluid (want to try Jeb's Big Boy Blend!) and I'm sure a few things I DON'T need!!!

Safe travels to and from York. Really looking forward to getting up there Friday.
