hello, just added z-stuff 1060 7light signal to my layout instructions say its suppose to change from red to yellow to green,the lights rotate but stay yellow. the wires are hooked up right red to power and black to ground,looks great yellow but is it suppose to change colors.

If the sensor is covered with black tape, then the input
(YELLOW) wire can be used to control the sensor. Connecting the
input wire to common will cause the signal to indicate stop (RED).
With the wire not connected, the signal will time-out and go to yellow,
then green.
thanks,for the reply Helichuck.I was just looking at basic set-up,from what I can tell is that thay are not colored lights like MTH signals.they are just yellow bulbs.
The DZ-1060 is a PRR 7 light position signal head. When not triggered (either by sensor or insulated rail) it should indicate "proceed" (shown below).
And the lights will always be amber. This is NOT a color signal.
