I am sure this has been answerd but was wondering something.  I presently run only railking intermodal container husky trains.  I am a huge fan of them.  I would like to start collecting different containers now.  I don't have much more room for more husky cars but thought it might be time to gather a collection for my yard.  What is the difference in sizes for the k-line, Lionel and other containers??? In other words if I was to purchase a k-line container will it look silly in the husky tub car with my other railking containers?  Is there a huge difference with the premier line husky containers??  Sorry for the redundant question just want to keep everything similar to what I have.  Thanks for your help.

In addition to length, width can also be a concern.  The MTH 20' and 40' containers, are known to be "overscale", or too wide.  Hence they won't fit in Atlas Gunderson wells.

Make sure you measure carefully before you buy, unless someone will give you one to test the fit.  I think your railking husky stack wells are 1-7/8" wide, so the k-line won't fit.

I have some Lionel trailers that I'm selling for a friend. If you're interested, my contact info is in my profile. I have photos, and can take measurements.

Jim, do a search for the "Intermodal Primer" thread that is on here.  Within the first page or two, as I recall, there's a whole dissertation on the containers from various manufacturers and what will fit where.  (I'm not sure how much space is devoted to Rail King however, as I think the discussion mainly focused on scale cars.  But it's pretty nteresting nonetheless.)
