The first tinplate table I built in the new train room was a 4x8 table. This was 1/2 inch plywood topped with sound deadining board and painted. About a year ago, I was looking at some of the extra floor space in front of this table and thought about expanding the table. This past February I tore down the 4x8 table and built a L-shaped table. This new table added 20 more square feet to run both a loop of O-guage and standard guage and a little more room for accessories.
