It has been a few years since I have run my LTI 261E with PS3. I had run it in the past with a Z-500 and z-controller in conventional mode, and it worked just fine. I lubed the locomotive per the operations manual, added smoke fluid, and set the train on the track. After powering up and capacitor charging completed, the train would not cycle into forward. Track power seems to be fine, and I was able to get a response from whistle and bell. I tried resetting to factory defaults in case it had been locked into neutral, and I did get a good response (two whistles) but no change.
I switched to a DCS remote commander, and was still in the same spot. I have access to whistle, bell, pfa, volume control, electro coupler, but no movement. I tried out my 254 with PS2, and had no problems.
