So I been playing around with different track plans and here is what I came up with. I am currently running 1 oval which is the lenght of the layout with o54 curves. Before I purchase the switches to join the outer loop to the middle loop I am not sure which turnout to buy. It's either going to be the Atlas #7.5 or Atlas #5. Your opions are greatly appreciated on this choice. Now to joing the o45 loop to the o36 loop I am using o36 switches. Is that a good idea or bad idea? By the way I don't plan on running long cars which require wider radius turnes. This is mainly a commuter/subway layout. Any finally the run around track in the midde (I don't know what you will call it) is not connected on one end as you can see in the photo. Will this make a big different and how can I fix this?
