Nice offering. I have asked dealers to do a custom run of a RS-1 in Penn Central on several occasions. Was told they didnt think it would sell. So if Berwyns sees this is a hit maybe a RS-1 is a possibility for their next custom run. Do it in 2 road #'s and I will commit to 2. Not trying to hijack this thread. Again, very nice SD-45

Me neither, but still...

I got my first "scale" train set ( HO Tyco ATSF freight) in 1969; almost right away I began looking into other scales. My first N scale engines were the Rapido/Arnold GP9 and Bachmann GP40, both in the PC scheme.

Around that same era the PC merger was written about (a lot!) in "Trains" magazine, so that chapter in American railroading loomed large to me. Now, many years later, it seems I'm not the only one...
