I ordered a Conrail unit however Charlie Row sent me an incorrect DM&IR unit. It will be returning on Tuesday. Anyone with a Conrail unit that can post some pics?

For what it's worth, it is an SD38!

Yes. Exactly the same prime mover in both locomotives, including the Dash-2 Series.
My first cab ride was in an SD38 on the R & N, former Grand Trunk rr units. It was in mid November several years ago, and that unit had a great heater. One memorable day!
Luke, did you say R&N, as in Reading & Northern? Received mine yesterday. I also picked up the Lionel R&N northeastern-style caboose last month. Here are a few quick cellphone pictures...

Saw my 1st SD 38 at buckeye yard in Columbus Ohio doing hump service along with a slug built from an old also. It was a cool visual a great PC moment. Go Tribe

Those things would pull like nobody's business even without the slugs, too. We used them in Conway as both hump power (with slug) and pullout job power (usually without) and routinely pulled 100+ cars with a single unit. Granted we were running restricted speed- but they sounded sweet digging in with a heavy train!
