I got the chessie SD50 from a forum member on here last week and the dummy Tunnel Motor today, The GP38 and the ore car that the SD50 is pulling I got at the Springfield show.

On Monday I received a package of 11 more Menards cars from the gentleman I’m purchasing the Menards collection from. Here’s photos from this shipment.

Rich, I especially like the Half Track and Tarp-covered load. They looked good on the Menards website, but they look even better in your photos.

A week and a half ago I received K-Line's 13.5" Fleet of Modernism 8-car passenger set. They're beautiful but the scale-sized Williams PRR F unit I have is too high for them. I didn't think I'd go with the Alco FA units that K-Line put out because the transverse-mounted motors in the trucks are not the best according to what I read on the Forum.  @coach joe did suggest Alco FAs as a better fit although he may not have been thinking of K-Line, but the K-Line Alco FOM A A set was available Mint unopened at Trainz, and it fit my budget. So I just received them yesterday. My first K-line locos. Both units are powered and I think they look great. Plastic couplers, but separately applied grab irons, and the leading A unit has a tether to link the E unit of the trailing unit. One YouTube I saw said they are loud and that's true! They are growlers.

Thanks John! They’ll look even better once I get an area done with scenery and I take them out of their plastic clamshells for some nice photos. I received the army flat with two Jeeps yesterday and it’s one of my favorites now! I’ll post that later or you can see it now in My Layout Remodel.

I hope it's ok to post something that I didn't have to buy, it was free.  It's a replica of Disney's Magic Kingdom Station.  It has an announcement feature I hope to get working and install some lighting.

I bought these two cars separately on the bay for the purpose of salvaging the trucks for repairs to existing cars. Each one cost less than a pair of trucks just closed for on the bay.
My problem is that these two look to good to be donors. So I guess I’ll continue the hunt at shows for damaged cars with good trucks.

Just picked this up off of a forum member. Now time to start the rebuild.

They are too nice to be donors. I love that caboose. Sorry for the dumb question, but are these 2-rail O Scale?

They are a good fit. I'm guessing that it's not prototypical, as far as those locomotives for these cars, and maybe not even this paint scheme. But they look good. I was worried that they might be real jackrabbits, but with my 1033 transformer they start out slow enough for me.

Those stations are going for $250+ for NIB ones on the bay. They claim they are HO scale but they are plenty big enough for O. How did you get one for free?

Just like a double shot of Kentucky's finest bourbon, a double profile of Scully can be just as fine on your railroad palate. I recently purchased a MTH reefer and did some exterior visual adjustments.

I have one from Dan @ Distant Signal's recommendations years ago, and I love it.  I didn't go with the chrome magnetic mount for my car, though!

If you live in NY, I have all the NY railroad programmed and in Uniden's freeware if you'd like.
