I understand that you can link the Cab1 with the Cab2 with the "Y" cable that comes in the 990 set to use them both but is there any way to link them if you use a TPC 400 to control Conventional engines?
I don't see it but maybe someone who knows better does. I have a TMCC Lock-on in use for its circuit breaker protection from my Post War ZW.

what is the number of your TPC 400.
input that number in the cab1 or cab 2 under the "TR".
I believe the manual covers it, but the TPC goes on the end of the y cable without the metal com end on it

Chris, the manual falls a little short. It shows the connections between the TMCC and Legacy base but then shows the third leg connected to a computer. I went through the Tutorial Videos on the Lionel site and there is one that shows how to connect a TPC to the TMCC and the Legacy bases using the Command Base Cable plugged into the third leg of the "Y" connector.
This problem solved.
