I do like my CN & GTW ITEMS. Now I see mostly CN running in my area but I used to see the GTW Engines and cars every day out the window of where I worked. So naturally when I got back into the hobby I thought I should have those as some of my main railroads. My first Diesel as a kid was the ATSF so it was a natural to make these Roads my main focus. I have a few of each now. Please feel free to post any pictures of these ROADS here on this thread.

Jeff thank you for all your hard work on my engines and cars. I am soooo pleased with them everytime I look at them. YOUR TALENT remains a part of our layout with all the engines and rolling stock that you created for us. THANK YOU. Hope you are having tons of fun with your Boys. They grow up WAY TO FAST and then they are gone. Glad you are taking the time to be involved with them. Thanks for being my friend. Bill

Stefan bery nice. I have the MTH Dash 8's but not the nice lIttle SW-1500 SWITCHER. I have the Black MTH S-2's in both CN and GTW.

lOOKS LIKE YOU HAVE A GREAT LOOKING GLASS storage place for your trains.

Are you still doing the motor conversions on the MTH engines? I think you may have mentioned it at one point in the past.

Have a nice weekend!

Stefan hope you are feeling better. Great pictures thanks for sharing with us. Who is in the picture with Mike W?

Prrhorshoecurve, its an MLW Canadian National M420W. I don't know much about it, its originally a brass kit and it has a horicontal pittman motor with two chain drives that power all four axles - similar to what Weaver used to build in. I bought it already built up and painted - just modified the truck frames a while ago. It runs very smooth and is powerful. It doesn't have rigit truck frames so all wheels are at all times in touch with the rails...

Hope this helps,

Ralph the cars look very nice. Steve did a good job for you. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Popsrr, thanks! Just waiting to get my Overland Canadian National SD70M-2 that will come out soon. I saw the new MTH catalog - quiet a few CN and VIA items in it, but nothing for a 2-railer. Would have loved that 4-8-2 Bullet Nose Betty in 2-Rail an PS3. Also the Turbotrain - I would have ordered either the CN or VIA in 2-Rail. Well, the cars are a different storry. Well, that orange austrian E94/ 1020 Crocodile in the european line looks very interesting to me!

Regards, Stefan
