Interesting that I checked several forum sponsons and none have the 6-81895 North Pole Central covered gondola listed.

That car is somewhat an odd piece in that for the most part it's the only Christmas car included in that catalog. The Holiday Memories catalog isn't really the full-blown 2014 Christmas catalog, and I don't recall seeing any other Christmas cars in the Signature catalog aside from 6-81895.
The email that Charles Ro sent out tonight mentions a Lionel Christmas catalog being released this June. I suspect that catalog will have this year's 2014 Christmas cars, along with additions to the Polar RR and North Pole Central rosters.

Looks like the preorder deadline is June 30th. Good thing so many folks were panicked about getting their vl bigboy orders in before the catalog was even delivered. Hurry up and wait I guess 
I'm going to patiently wait and see what, if any, examples Lionel may have at York. I'll probably order one either way, but it would be nice to see an example of the "heavy" mike.

Why ae you saing June 30th? This statement is in Ro's Flyer
”Lionel expects us to order by May 24th and they will build to the quantity we order. So what does this mean for you - it means you should order these items by May 20th so we can include your order with ours."
Did you see June 30th somewhere else?
The dead-line for orders with Lionel are May 15th, we will be happy to take orders till the 14th.

And just to make it more confusing this was stated in the email I received from Ro with their price list. Not that it's a big deal but I wonder which it is...May 20th or May 10th?

The "early buy prices" on the flyer say 6/30/14.
Thanks for pointing out the discrepancy Chris. I guess maybe a call to Ro is in order.
I don't see why Lionel wants the preorders before York, when that might encourage more buyers/orders. Ro just got the flyer up and probably hasn't sent many catalogs out yet.
This sounds like "if you want YOUR order to be included with the rest of the ones we are ordering for store stock don't hesitate".

I see, I hadn't noticed the part about a June Christmas catalog. Lionel must not have meant for the NPC gondo to be in the Signature catalog. I'll happily wait 'til June.
