"HONGZ" stands for HO scale, N scale, G scale, and Z scale.

Post your non-O scale stuff here!

Excellent choice PRR. Just be aware that there are several different 'scales' within G scale.  USA Trains is 1:29, MTH One Gauge is 1:32 and Aristocraft, LGB, Pola and others can be 1:24 or 1:22. MTH chose 1:32 because the distance between the rails in G gauge is prototypical for 1:32 American Prototype trains. Most of the G gauge track looks like Narrow Gauge track.  Personally, I like American prototype trains like what Charles Ro and MTH produce and to me the common G gauge track looks odd. I found some years ago that Gargraves made some beautiful almost scale G gauge track that used their common components that seems to visually fit quite well with the American trains.

Many of the USA Trains have gone out of production but moat are available aftermarket. I have a beautiful new pair of the Santa Fe Alco PA's that I would consider selling if interested.

Here is their Hudson that is a masterpiece on a section of Gargraves track
