This issue has a amazing layout in it called the "midway central" The article is called " Big steam on a big railroad" The heading says "Marty Fix's Midway central" Does anyone know what happened to this huge layout or if it still exists today?

No idea what happened to this layout or if it still exists but, this was one of my favorite layouts in my early days back in the hobby. I still have this issue of CTT and will open it up every now and then to enjoy the photos for the umpteenth time.

One aspect of the layout article I was always curious about was Don Wood, the author and photographer. I've always wondered if it was the same Don Wood who made his name shooting PRR photos in the '50's.
