Compact "trolley" layout with twin reversing loops

Here is a very simple to build layout that uses RealTrax O-54 track sections and turnouts. The layout provides continuous operation for trolley operation. It would be ideal for a separate trolley line through a "downtown" business district. A trolley "barn" or passenger depot could be positioned over the parallel tracks in the center of the layout as shown. The layout is designed to be used with automatic turnouts with a non-derail feature.

Also attached is a photo of my RailKing trolley which is being modified. It will have new window glass and LED lighting. The window silhouettes have been removed as shown.
