Over the years both grab irons on the snowplow of my Lionel Southern Pacific SD-40T have fallen off.  One was lost (never did find it), the other I saved after it fell off but have since misplaced it.  I was thinking I could replace both grab irons by using Tichy Train Group phosphor bronze wire to form new grab irons, but I have no idea what diameter bronze wire I should order.  Any advice would be welcome. FYI, when I've checked online in the past it appeared that Lionel doesn't sell these grab irons as a separate part (at least not under the listings for the SP SD-40T), they only sell the entire snowplow (with the grab irons attached). Not willing to pay for an entire new snowplow, which is why I want to try to make my own grab irons.

Tichy Grain Group also sells preformed wire grab irons but (again) I have no order which would be the correct ones to order.
