DCS Remote Not Communicating with TIU | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Last evening while social distancing I was running my layout. I have DCS and Legacy set up and running. I have 3 DCS remotes that I use with the system and up until last evening they were all working properly.I noticed that one of the remotes had about 100 engines and lash up loaded into it.I decided to clear them all out by reseting the remote. By doing this I was aware that I would lose everything and the remote should go back to factory settings. I have my TIU number set at number 5. I don't remember how to reset the remote to act with number five. Can anyone enlighten me as to how I go about this.

IIRC you have to go into the settings and select the TIU to add.

You need to add the TIU to the remote by doing the following:

1) Press MENU key

2) Use thumbwheel to select SYSTEM

3) Use thumbwheel to select TIU SETUP

4) Use thumbwheel to select ADD TIU

5) Select TIU #5 with thumbwheel

Thanks guys. i know I have done this procedure in the past but I just couldn't remember the sequence last evening. Everything is now back to normal
