will the cruise m work in my lionel sp ac9 with earlier oddessy, not very slow speed and 2 chuffs be added to the lionel system and give me 4 chuffs per rev, super slow starting speed and of course more speed steps. Also if it will work, is it an easy installation.
The Cruise Commander M will improve the slow speed and general speed control. It will do nothing at all for the number of chuffs, it has nothing to do with that part of the operation.
It's a pretty easy installation, though I don't do it exactly how they describe with the wire splicing. I have a pin removal tool for the power connector, and I move the pins over to a 4-pin connector.
