First I have Barry's book. read if over an over. My first track plan works fine. My second track plan is entirely separate. (oh yes tracks are fastrack) All my mth engines worked fine on old plans with remote, they are still all there.  Now when I put my am track engine on new I track plan, remote shows no engine found.Put it on old track no problem.  When I take the amtrack engine off track then on again it starts up and goes through all engine sounds, but will not move, and remote shows no engine found.  Does any one have any ideas.  Please help before loose my cool an take a very large hammer too it.  I have tried too put pictures on thread but can't even do that.  Sonny

Sonny,

Are you using Fixed #1 for the loop that works and a different channel, most likely Fixed #2, for the one that doesn't?

If so, you must provide power for the TIU itself via either the Aux. Power port or Fixed #1 Input while running trains on Fixed #2 or either of the Variable channels

If there is power into Fixed #2 Input but not into either Fixed #1 Input or the Aux. Power port, Fixed #2 will have power, however, the TIU's red LED will be off and there will not be a DCS signal on Fixed channel #2 Output.

This and a whole lot more is all in MTH’s “The DCS O Gauge Companion 2nd Edition", available for purchase as an eBook or a printed book at MTH's web store!

Sonny,

First, ensure that the output of Fixed #2's RED terminal goes to the center rail and that the BLACK terminal goes to an outside rail. If not, swap the wires at the Fixed #2 terminals.

If that isn't the problem, swap the output of the TIU Fixed #1 and Fixed #2 channels. If the problem stays on the same loop, the problem is in your wiring. If the problem moves to the other loop, the TIU may be suspect.
