Ever see one

That's a Lionel science set from the 1960's if I am correct. I had one but with less features. Not sure where to find any price value for it.

Try Greenberg's price guide if you have an item number for it, might be listed under sets?

It was called a Lionel engineering electrical tester set. Haven't got a number but I don't think it was their science set.

hhtrains: you would likely get a better set of replies if you revised your thread title to include the name: "Lionel engineering electrical tester."

Greenbergs Guide to Lionel and Paper Collectibles by Robert Osterhoff has all the Lionel science  kits from the 1960s listed. Looks like there were a few different kits made, numbers 3200, 3201, 3202, 3203 and 3210.

I remember in the mid to late 60s I got a Lionel Chemistry set one Christmas. I wasn't to excited as I had asked for trains but soon found our how much fun I could have with the many different stink bombs that could be made!

Lionel had a whole series of scientific sets in the early 1960's. Many, if not all of them were available at different levels. I have a couple of their plastics labs. They also had a weather lab, and the electronics lab shown above.

They also made chemistry and microscope sets, but they were part of a different line.

Finally, lets not forget the famous inventor series, items such as a printing press, and a light bulb.

I did not list everything, just the ones I could remember off the top of my head.

I hasn't seen the light of day in decades.  I'm not sure why I even kept it.  I keep pushing it around in my basement.

Porter was not always associated with Lionel. It may predate Lionel's acquisition of the company. When Lionel purchased Porter, I believe they changed the logo.
