So I have had an interesting situation transpire tonight on my layout. One of my Fastrack remote switches has started acting up. Every time a train starts to cross it, it automatically starts switching back and forth. I've checked the wiring, it's wired properly. Thankfully when I noticed it a train pulling heavyweight passenger cars was crossing and it didn't derail. I've been troubleshooting it for awhile now and it continues to do it. Any suggestions/ideas what might be causing this?

It doesn't take much current to trigger these, it seems there may be some debris contacting the trigger rail for the curved route, maybe a frayed wire near the controller connections on the bottom that acts with the weight of the train - check these ares carefully.

With no train, can you push down on the switch anywhere and get it to throw to curve(out)?

How does it work going through the "out" route?
