Just getting started on my first Ameri-Towne building kit and wondering what paint and colors people favor? my first attempt I spray painted the sides with Rustoleum 2x flat gray primer and then brushed on DecoArt Americana Heritage Brick acrylic paint (Hobby Lobby). Mortar is DAP Light Weight Spackle (Home Depot). I still have a way to go with trim work, a black wash and dull Cote. I thought about varying the brick colors, but I didn't have a small enough brush this time around. I ordered some weathering paint pencils for this going forward.
I have a number of kits and building fronts, and don't want them all to be uniform, so curious about other colors folks use. Likewise, if you have favorite colors for windows, doors, trim, cement, et al, I would be interested in that.
