Well its Friday already, the weeks are going fast for sure.  It must be near fall as our daytime temperatures SOMETIMES go below 100 deg .  Here is my front end for today, the Lionel 256.

The 256 was just about the largest locomotive Lionel produced in the pre-war period.  It was the only dual motor locomotive produced until the early post war period with the NYC/Santa Fe  F-3 units.  Offered 1924-1930.  0-4-4-0 B&M Hoosac Tunnel type.

Gonna be a busy line this weekend. Men's semi's today and men's and women's finals over the weekend.

"Stand clear of the closing doors...."

So true! As a subway fan, I’d have no problem riding the 7  to the stadium after dropping close to a grand for 2 tickets to the semis (way more for the finals). However, judging from our most recent trip to the City,  I’m almost certain Mrs. Strap would demand that we opt for stadium parking.  Ironically, back in the day when we lived in Forest Hills, we used to walk to the old stadium. Good times.
