I have four (4) original Lionel #58 cream-colored gooseneck lamp posts, each equipped with an original and functional pear-shaped frosted bulb, that were manufactured in the postwar era only between 1946 and 1950. These accessories, which I purchased from Madison Hardware Co. in the early 1970s, were inspected by me but never used on my former layout. The posts themselves are in TCA C-8 [like new] condition- -free of any dings or breakage, with unblemished painted surfaces. The bulb coatings, however, have at least one [1] to a maximum of six [6] age-related tiny nicks on their respective surfaces, lowering the overall rating of each item to C-7 [excellent] condition...my conservative estimate. All lamp posts come with their original P-6 to P-7 [very good to excellent] box.
