Just received a bunch of boxes of DCS locos which were in need of attention.

I had to give a shout out to  Gunner for excellent service.  John was able to diagnose and cure every single locomotive.  It is amazing how varied the operating issues can be.  John is simply one of the most talented folks in the business !!

It was great opening all the boxes and repatriating them.   Like Christmas morning.  Now all I need are some more whisker tracks.

Thanks, John !

Ah ha! So THAT's the problem. A possible swollen head aside,

Tom stated, ". . . a bunch of boxes of DCS locos which were in need of attention." So, A BUNCH, Tom? Then RJT drops off a locomotive for repair and by the time he's made the 3 hour drive home, it's ready?!

Then there's me over here on the other side of the Rocky Mountains paying 3 times the shipping I'd normally pay, to Pennsylvania no less, and I don't get my humble Santa Fe baggage car in for repairs, finished until 3 weeks later!?!

No wonder!! Thanks a lot, guys.

Well, I received my item for repair back from GRJ just 2 days after he mailed it. It's a Santa Fe Super Chief lighted baggage car that came with a set. I had a previous Lionel tech repair a coupler droop problem, which he did. But when I got it back, a C-clip must have let go during shipping leaving a dangling truck and the lights wouldn't work.

I had tried taking it apart myself to reinstall the truck's C-clip and take a look at the lighting. But I just could not get the floor out. So I sent it to John and he did fine work. It's back and running with working lights.

Thank you again, John, for a splendid job.
