How to Scenic the 90 Degree Angle

that's a rather broad question Ed.

what is your planned scenery... farm fields? hills? industrial buildings?

each one has a different treatment. please provide more information.

Chris, yes, too broad a question.  Here are some particulars:  The track centerline is 2.5 inches from the wall.  The track is parallel to the wall.  The background should be trees and tree-covered mountains in the distance.

About the only thing you can do with 2.5" from the center line is to put up a wall mural.  I seriously doubt a 1" flat would fit in that space without banging against the train.

A couple ideas.

2.5 inches is really tight..... paint a back drop or buy one. Trackside Scenery has some pretty good ones and very reasonable prices

Thanks for the tips but as someone said, you can't do much in less than an inch.  

I did paint a forest on the wall with medium green paint.  I stippled it and gave the impression (?) of depth with varying thicknesses of the paint.  I have 2 more shades of green that are darker that will go up soon, in front of the lighter shade.  It is the problem with the actual 90 degree angle at the bottom that I cannot solve.
