I only had her for a week but I fell for her in a big way... Last I heard from her she had arrived at Lionel service on 1/9/15 so at least I know she got there safely. But I have to admit I'm worried...I haven't heard anything since and I'm concerned her condition may be terminal.

I hope I hear something soon... this is stressing me out man!!

Three weeks...they say.

Maybe they had to send it to Cheyenne .

I miss my brand new SD70 and newish dash 9.

Don't misunderstand... I have total faith in Lionel's customer service and repair department... especially since big Mike took over!

I know they will take good care of my baby and nurse her back better than before... it's just I had hoped to at least hear something by now.

Maybe if I don't hear from them by Friday I'll give them a call.

btw: congrats on your recent purchase Larry... I know you'll enjoy !

Is it safe to assume the Christmas rush for warranty service begins December 26? Maybe they'll be all caught up by March.

You probably won't hear anything until you get an email that says it is being shipped back to you.  I have been there with some of my Legacy engines anxiously waiting and wondering what is going on.   However, after sending in a few engines over the past few years, I have learned to sit back and not worry about it.  Ken

Brian, I would love to see the BigBoy running on Arts beautiful layout especially seeing as mine is being torn down for a rebuild... he extended the invite at last months DuPage show.. btw- I made breakfast where were you??

I realize they are busy and would rather have them take their time and fix it right ... so I guess the "little princess" will just buck up and chill out....

Thanks for the sound "friendly" advice guys..
