When I run a Legacy locomotive with my iCab and set it to Legacy steam mode it always goes back to TMCC mode when I start running it. Am I doing something wrong or why is this happen?

The iCab app will read the Legacy base record to set the type of operation. If you manually change the mode, the iCab app will change it back after checking in with the Legacy base. The manual selection is designed to be used with the Base1-L, where there is no database to query.
Set the correct mode from a Cab-2 and then iCab will observe the setting.

I should have posted this in the first post, but I am using a Base1-L. I don't have a 990 set.
The cab-1l doesn't support modes like the 990 does, nor does it save settings in the base, It's basically a TMCC controller with a couple added features
